Important Information Regarding Applying for a New House Registration

Homeowners must submit the application within 15 days of the house construction being completed (according to the Civil Registration Act B.E. 2534). Failure to apply for a new house registration within 15 days, starting from the completion date, will be considered an offense and subject to a fine not exceeding 1,000 baht.

1. Form TR.9 or notification of house registration issued by the local authority (village headman/sub-district administrative organization).
2. Building permit or building certification according to the building control law, or house purchase agreement (if applicable).
3. Land title deed or document proving ownership of the land used for construction.
4. Homeowner's national identification card.
5. National identification card of the person applying for the house registration or their authorized representative.
6. Power of attorney (if applicable).
A power of attorney is used when the homeowner cannot personally apply for the house number or registration. 6. Authorization is given to another person to apply for the house registration on one's behalf.
This requires photocopies of the homeowner's national ID card and house registration, each certified as a true copy, to be included in the power of attorney document.
The power of attorney document must have the signatures of two witnesses to acknowledge and witness the authorization.
7. Photographs of the completed building, showing four sides: front, back, left, and right of the house.
