4 Things about decorating a condo before renting

Decorating a condo for rent is already difficult, but decorating a condo for rent is even more challenging. Decorating it well is expensive, and decorating it cheaply is difficult to rent out. So I didn't know how to properly decorate it to get the most out of the rental fee.

Rent is a bit high, but if you're moving from another condo or apartment, you'll likely have some furniture and appliances with you, so you tend to prefer a condo that's lightly decorated. Just the basic amenities like air conditioning and a water heater are sufficient. Other furniture and appliances, like refrigerators, microwaves, etc., are usually already there, having been purchased when you moved into your previous unit.

As for other furniture and decorations, you don't need to immediately decorate them. Simply take photos of various parts of the room and post them for renting. Set a moderate, affordable rental price to attract potential buyers. If you rush to decorate your condo, it could take longer to find a tenant, potentially requiring additional renovation and repair costs.
However, be careful not to set the rental price too low, as rent levels act as a filter for renters' income levels. If the rent is too low, you could attract tenants with similar usage patterns that could lead to damage.

Plus, the tenant will feel like they've got something new and stylish, which could potentially help you increase your rent.
